POWER IN THE WORD OF GOD

12For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul and spirit, joints and marrow, as it judges the thoughts and purposes of the heart (Heb. 4:12).

Greeting brothers and sisters friends, grace and peace to you in the name of God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit. I thank God for this wonderful opportunity to share with you from His Word. Lord God help me as I delineate your Word that I may say and express those things you would have me to say. Lord open the heart and the minds of those who are reading so that they may understand, If they are Christians let this be a blessing.  If they are not, allow the power of your word to penetrate their hearts. Thank you, Lord, in Jesus name Amen.

When we refer to the word of God we believe it to mean either, the word that was at the beginning with God and is God, which is Christ the living word, or we think of the bible which is the written Word. In Heb 4:12 the verse of scripture is certainly true concerning Christ. However, this verse of scripture is referring to the bible. The written word of God Is living and active, it seizes the consciousness, it cuts deep into the heart and soul. The word of God is pure power and accomplishes whatever it has been set out to do. The word is also active in comforting and healing of one’s soul. The word of God is sharp and is able to cut with such surgical precision that it is able to cut out exactly what is targeted without doing harm to the heart. The soul and the spirit are so intricately connected and are of the same substance that they are one, However only God by His word is able to make the separation and distinguish the soul from the spirit.

HOW CAN THESE THINGS BE?

Greetings Brothers and Sisters Grace and peace to you in the name of God our Father and the Son and The Holy Spirit. I thank God for this wonderful opportunity to share with you regarding His word concerning rebirth. Lord, we thank you because you never made understanding a requirement to be saved, but you never forbid us from finding the truth so we can deeply appreciate what you have done for us, Father I pray that you open our hearts and mind  so that we may receive understanding, for those who know the salvation of the Lord let us receive encouragement to work in battle to save souls. For those who don’t know Jesus open the eyes of their understanding so that they may know the truth and seek the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ, in Jesus name I pray Amen.

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”(John 3:4)

Nicodemus understood what Jesus said to be the physical birth to change one’s personality. Jesus explained to him that the laws governing the flesh and the spirit are different, they are not the same. Jesus told him that which is born of the flesh is flesh (John 3:6a). Nicodemus was astonished by Jesus answer and asked Him, how can a man be born when he is old. This question is one to take note of even though Nicodemus question made it obvious that he did not understand. However, his response should cause us to place focus on the on the elderly. Nicodemus was an aged man, deeply set in his religion, deeply set in his traditional ways. They have lived a certain way all their lives. They have believed what they believe and not believed all their lives. The sad problem is that few elderly people are born again this is tragic, thank God some are.   the concern is having to change their entire outlook on life.

Nicodemus ask another question concerning How the holy spirit could bring about the new birth.  How can these things be? Jesus reminded him that as an instructor of the old testament he should have known the spiritual truth He was expounding. Jesus then reminded of something he was familiar with in Israel’s history.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. Then the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten when he looks at it, shall live.” So Moses made a bronze serpent and put it on a pole, and so it was if a serpent had bitten anyone when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived. (Numbers 21:7,8).  The people of Israel was dying from the poison of snake bites after Moses interceded on their behalf and God sent an easy remedy to them, one that would heal their wounds and remove the calamity. through there looking at the serpent Moses erected on a pole according to God’s instructions And placing it in the center of the camp. The only thing required of the people is that when they are bitten to look at the serpent and they will live. Many of the people wouldn’t look to save their lives. This probably was an indication that they didn’t believe God.

Jesus showed Nicodemus how heavenly activity creates an opportunity for earthly activity. When the two come into contact with one another there is the way of life. Then Jesus brought Nicodemus face to face with the cross. “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should £not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:14,15). This is the only way that old things can pass away and new life can become a reality. Just as by the mercy of God, He provided a way of healing to Israel so that they could receive healing and that their bodies could live. So by His grace provided the cross for all those who are dead in sin can possess eternal life and experience healing of the soul. All one has to do is look by faith to the crucified  One. Brothers and Sisters thank you for taking the time to read this message, I hope this message increased your understanding and encouraged your heart to reach the lost for Christ. If you don’t know Christ as it concerns the pardoning of your sin and you now believe contact me, allow me to help you, blog my post.   v

Thank you, Lord,]for this opportunity in Jesus name I pray Amen.

v   “Look to Me, and be saved,

All you ends of the earth!

For I am God, and there is no other (Isaiah 45:22).

God Bless You

What is a Missionary?

“Jesus said to them again, ‘… As the Father has sent Me, I also send you’ ” (John 20:21).

A missionary is someone sent by Jesus Christ just as He was sent by God. The great controlling factor is not the needs of people, but the command of Jesus. The source of our inspiration in our service for God is behind us, not ahead of us. The tendency today is to put the inspiration out in front—to sweep everything together in front of us and make it conform to our definition of success. But in the New Testament the inspiration is put behind us, and is the Lord Jesus Himself. The goal is to be true to Him—to carry out His plans.

Personal attachment to the Lord Jesus and to His perspective is the one thing that must not be overlooked. In missionary work the great danger is that God’s call will be replaced by the needs of the people, to the point that human sympathy for those needs will absolutely overwhelm the meaning of being sent by Jesus. The needs are so enormous, and the conditions so difficult, that every power of the mind falters and fails. We tend to forget that the one great reason underneath all missionary work is not primarily the elevation of the people, their education, nor their needs, but is first and foremost the command of Jesus Christ—“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations …” (Matthew 28:19).

When looking back on the lives of men and women of God, the tendency is to say, “What wonderfully keen and intelligent wisdom they had, and how perfectly they understood all that God wanted!” But the keen and intelligent mind behind them was the mind of God, not human wisdom at all. We give credit to human wisdom when we should give credit to the divine guidance of God being exhibited through childlike people who were “foolish” enough to trust God’s wisdom and His supernatural equipment.

The Key to the Master’s Orders

“Pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest” (Matthew 9:38).

https://fromtimetoeternity.com/?p=2146&preview=true

The key to the missionary’s difficult task is in the hand of God, and that key is prayer, not work—that is, not work as the word is commonly used today, which often results in the shifting of our focus away from God. The key to the missionary’s difficult task is also not the key of common sense, nor is it the key of medicine, civilization, education, or even evangelization. The key is in following the Master’s orders—the key is prayer. “Pray the Lord of the harvest … .” In the natural realm, prayer is not practical but absurd. We have to realize that prayer is foolish from the commonsense point of view.

The Missionary’s Goal

“He … said to them, ‘Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem … ’ ” (Luke 18:31).

In our natural life our ambitions change as we grow, but in the Christian life the goal is given at the very beginning, and the beginning and the end are exactly the same, namely, our Lord Himself. We start with Christ and we end with Him—“… till we all come … to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ …” (Ephesians 4:13), not simply to our own idea of what the Christian life should be. The goal of the missionary is to do God’s will, not to be useful or to win the lost. A missionary is useful and he does win the lost, but that is not his goal. His goal is to do the will of his Lord.

God is Good and He does wonderful things for those that love Him, and those that He love. Lord lead me and guide me , in Jesus name Amen.

Just about every human being at one time or another in our  life ask the questions. Who am I ?  Where did I come from ? Was I somehow here before?  Somehow you knew that there was something obscured from our vision, from our mind’s eye. We had a strong sense of something, a point in our minds that we cannot seem to penetrate. and the answers we seek is yet beyond this continuum. So once we convince ourselves that we can’t solve the mystery. We come back to the questions at the age of adolescence when we began to become more independent and when we become a young adult we become active in seeking the answer. That when the idea surface I have to find out who I am. You can’t know yourself apart from God.

The first thing we need to know about God is that He created the Heavens and the Earth. In this statement located in Genesis 1:1 it is revealed that God is powerful and that He is a creator. If creating the earth is not powerful enough for us to see that God is awesome, then look up into the heavens, or in other words the universe. God created all that you see and can’t see. If you read the creation account you will see that God created the day and the night, and the plants and the animals and the days of the week, the sun and the moon and the last of His Creation is Man, the crown of God’s creation.  If you want to know who you are, whose better to ask then your creator. Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; ( Gen 1: 26a).  In this verse of scripture, God revealed two very important things for us to pay attention to. The first thing for us to see is that God is talking to someone else. First Only God can create so the other persons that He is talking to are not angels because angels can.t create. He is not talking to Himself as though He is some kind of schizophrenic. God was speaking to the Son and the Holy Spirit. All three persons in the Godhead participated in the creation.

God said let us make man in our own image. If  we look at each other neither of us look like. God is Spirit so we can’t see God with our eyes. But the image that God is speaking of is,  Intellect, Emotion, and will. God created us to be the same kind of being that He is. God has a intellect and He gave us one, we have the ability to think independent of God and each other and most importantly we are able to communicate with God. God created man to worship Him. God Has a emotion and He gave us one. God has the ability to love to get angry, to be sad, to be sorry, in fact God is Love. God has a will and is able to do whatever He wills to do. God gave us a will and asked us to do his will and a choice to choose between His will or our  will .  This is where the problem comes in, in the exercise of free will man sinned. Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—(Ro. 5:12)

v15But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many( Ro. 5:15). God gave Adam warning that the cost of his disobedience is death Gen 2:16’17. God created us from the dirt of the ground. Our bodies are made of the same ingredients that are found in the earth. When we die our bodies are going to return to the elements of which we were made. But that’s not all, its not over. We still have to be concerned about our soul. Where will it go? If you read the Gospel of Luke  16:19-23, you will see that the rich man died and went to Hell immediately to endure an eternity of suffering.

God’s word said,16For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16). that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. ( Rom 10:9,10).  God cares about you and who you are, He knew you in eternity past before you were born.  Before He created the earth. God knows you better than you know your self, and He loves you more then you love your self. God says that all you have to do is believe in His Son and you will be saved. Amen  Thank you for my brothers and Sisters and friends, I hope this is a blessing to you and If you don’t know Jesus and you now believe, let me know to blog my post, if not blog my post. Thank you, Lord, in Jesus name Amen.

God Bless You

LAYING IT DOWN

AUGUST 24, 2017

one shepherd. 17Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

19There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings. 20And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him? 21Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind? (John 10: 17-21)

Greetings Brothers and Sister’s Grace and peace to you in the name of The Father and The Son and the Holy Spirit. I thank God for you and the opportunity to share  God’s word with you. Lord, I pray that you use this message someone to lead someone to Jesus. I pray that you open their eyes of understanding and help them receive the truth. Lord let this message encourage my brothers and sisters, in Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Jesus did many great miracles when He was here on earth. Many of the religious leaders wouldn’t except what they saw with their own eyes and claimed that Jesus did this miracle in the power of Satan, or that He was demon possessed. All the miracles Jesus did indicate to everyone that only God could do what He was doing, or what they saw Him do. Finally, Jesus told everyone who would listen that He was commanded by His father to lay down His life and to take it up again. Jesus went on to tell everyone that he had the power to do exactly what God wanted Him to do. After hearing this some might just consider that something may be wrong with Him. After Jesus carried out exactly what He said He would do, His act should have erased any doubt in anyone’s mind that not only is He not Satan, nor is He demon possessed. What He did only God Could do. Jesus is God, Amen.

My friends God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. God said that if you believe in Him He will forgive you and give you eternal life, Read John 3:16. Do you believe? If you do and don’t know what to do let me know Blog my post.  Let me Help you. Thank you, brothers and sisters, from reading this message, I hope you have been blessed if so let me know blog my post. Thank you, Lord, in Jesus name Amen
