Greetings Friends, Grace and peace to you in the name of God our Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, My friends as you know it is only by the Grace of God that we are here today. We are truly in a place we don’t deserve to be. Everyone on this earth is benefiting from the grace of God. The United States has been especially blessed by God and is the richest and most powerful country in the world. The founding fathers of this country and constitution recognized that as a country we must live according to the ethical and moral values of God if we are to be successful. The founders of this country know that God is the final word and authority and that we all are going to have our day in Court, to answer to the Judge of the entire universe. Thank You, Lord, for allowing me to share with my brothers and sisters concerning our day in court. Lord Guide me and help me to be clear and restricted to the truth according to your word, Amen.
2 Corinthians 5:10 (NASB)
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
My friends we all have been given an innate knowledge enabling us to be aware of certain principals we are to live by. For example, we know that God exists, even though we may deny that knowledge, God knows that you have it because He has given it to you. another example is that God knows that you know the difference between right and wrong. God knows this because He created you with a conscience, to prove this, God knows that when you want to do that which is right, you do it. When you want to do wrong or not you make the conscious decision to do so. The opposite is also true when we want to do wrong or even we don’t necessarily want to do wrong we make the decision to do wrong. God has given to each of us a conscience which is a part of our hearts. Our conscious acts as a warning system that alerts us of the impending danger of our decision we are making to break the moral laws that God has written on our hearts.
Romans 2:14-16 (NASB)
14 For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves,
On that day which is surely coming, just as sure as the air we breathe, we stand before the highest court of the universe. On that day there will be a witness which will indisputably testify against us. This witness will not lie, this witness cannot lie. This witness can only tell the truth. This witness cannot be bought, this witness cannot be bargained with. You cannot defend your self against the testimony of this witness. You will stand before God in silence and only your conscious will speak. The testimony of this witness is so utterly compelling that you will realize that you need someone to stand up for you, someone to advocate for you. On that day you will realize that you are deserving of Gods’ wrath.
15 in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them,
16 on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus (Romans 2:15-16). It is your own Conscious that will bear witness against you to condemn you, or defending you.
Our environment has come to be like that which God spoke to Ezekiel, which is very similar to exactly that which is happening today. Ezekiel 22:23-31 (NASB)
23 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
24 “Son of man, say to her, ‘You are a land that is not cleansed or rained on in the day of indignation.’
25 “There is a conspiracy of her prophets in her midst like a roaring lion tearing the prey. They have devoured lives; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in the midst of her.
26 “Her priests have done violence to My law and have profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean, and they hide their eyes from My sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
27 “Her princes within her are like wolves tearing the prey, by shedding blood and destroying lives in order to get dishonest gain.
28 “Her prophets have smeared whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD,’ when the LORD has not spoken.
29 “The people of the land have practiced oppression and committed robbery, and they have wronged the poor and needy and have oppressed the sojourner without justice.
30 “I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land so that I would not destroy it, but I found no one.
31 “Thus I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; their way I have brought upon their heads,” declares the Lord GOD.
My Friends those of you who know the Lord and those of you who don’t the good news is God has provided you with an advocate. He has provided you with someone to stand up for you. God has provided you with a witness who will not lie for you, but He will stand in your place, He can say the most important thing that needs to be said, He can say the only thing that will appease the wrath of the Judge of the universe, Or He can say go away from me I never knew you. Just what He will say is entirely up to you. Your day before the Judge is only known by the Judge Himself. That day you do not know. You must get prepared now. Jesus said “I am the way the truth and the life, no one can come to my Father except by me. (John 14:6). Just how is it that you can come to God through Jesus Christ? Jesus tells us “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that who so ever believes in Him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life (John 3:16). This is the most important question you will ever have to answer in your life. Your very life depends on your answer. Do you believe the statement Jesus made? you must make it personal. Do you believe He died for your sin? Your answer to this question will determine, the answer Jesus will give before the Judge of the entire universe, If you believe in Him He will say, I died for him or her, He or she is not guilty. To understand how and why is not important, you may not have time to thoroughly understand. It is only important that you believe. Do you believe? God bless you. Amen.
