Brothers, sisters and friends, greeting, grace and peace to you in the name Of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I thank God for this opportunity to share His word with you. I will be sharing with you concerning our relationship with sin. Lord, I pray that you guide my mind as I reason with my friends concerning our relationship with sin and with Christ.  Lord open the hearts and minds of all who read this message and help us make application of what we learn to our lives. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.

“Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.”—Romans 6:11.

Christian Perfection

It is erroneous to presume that God wants to make us perfect specimens of what He can do. God’s purpose is to make us one with Himself. The holiness movement emphasizes that God is producing specimens of holiness to put in the museum. If this is the concept you accept for personal holiness, you are only interested what you call the evidence of God in your life,  and your life determined purpose will not be for God.  Can you really say “it can never be God’s will for me to sick?  It was God’s will to bruise His own Son (Isaiah 53:10). Why shouldn’t He bruise you? What reveals God in your life is not your consistency to an idea of what a saint should be like, but your genuine personal relationship with  Jesus Christ and your devotion to him whether you are sick or not.

Not By Might Nor By Power

“Not by Might nor by Power”

“My speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power …” (
1 Corinthians 2:4
).

https://fromtimetoeternity.com/not-by-might-nor-by-power/

In preaching the Gospel we are not to highlight how knowledgeable we are and how articulate and persuasive we are with words as if by doing so we will be able to bring people to the Lord. We must concentrate on making sure that we are grounded by faith in God, while we proclaim the gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. As we make sure that our proclamation is clear we must not depend on that effort alone. We must depend and rely on the Holy Spirit.  We must rely on the certainty of God’s redemption power. God will create His life in people, we can not.

Once you are rooted in the reality of redemption nothing can shake you.  If you put your trust in experiences, anything is likely to upset your faith. Nothing can ever change God or the reality of redemption.  If you base your faith on that, you are eternally secure as God Himself.  Once you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, you will never be moved again. That is what is meant by sanctification. God disapproves of human efforts to cling to the concept that sanctification is merely an experience, forgetting that even our sanctification must also be sanctified.

And for their sakes, I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth (John 17:19).

Once you are rooted in reality, nothing can shake you. If your faith is in experiences, anything that happens is likely to upset that faith. But nothing can ever change God or the reality of redemption. Base your faith on that, and you are as eternally secure as God Himself. Once you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, you will never be moved again. That is the meaning of sanctification. God disapproves of our human efforts to cling to the concept that sanctification is merely an experience while forgetting that even our sanctification must also be sanctified (see
John 17:19
). I must deliberately give my sanctified life to God for His service so that He can use me as His hands and His feet. [xyz-ihs snippet=”Botton”]

Jesus said I Am the Way and the Truth and The Life, no one can come to my Father except by me (John 14:6). The only way you can be forgiven and receive the gift of eternal life is t believe in the work of Jesus Christ (John 3:16).  Do You believe? Let me know, Blog Me.

The Law of Opposition

The Law of Opposition

https://fromtimetoeternity.com/the-law-of-opposition/

“To him who overcomes …” (
Revelation 2:7
).

Greeting Friends, grace and peace to you in the name of God our Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. May God continue to bless you and strengthen you for the days to come.  God, I ask that you use me to share your word with those who are and those who are not your people. To edify those who are and to encourage those who are not, In Jesus name Amen

In the natural world and the supernatural realm life without war is impossible. The fact is there is a continuing struggle in the physical, spiritual, mental, and moral areas of life.

The balance between the physical parts of my body and everything around me including the forces surrounding me is health. In order to maintain good health, I must have enough eternal strength to fight off things that are external. Everything outside my physical life is designed to put me to rest. All the elements that sustain while I am alive, work to decay and disintegrate my body once It is dead. Inner strength is needed to fight and help produce the balance needed for good health.  The same is true for mental health. If I intend on maintaining a strong and active mental life, I have to fight. This struggle produces the mental balance called thought.

Morally it is the same. Anything that does not strengthen me morally is the enemy of virtue within me. Whether I overcome, thereby producing virtue, depends on the level of moral excellence in my life. But we must fight to be moral. Morality does not happen by accident; moral virtue is acquired.

Spiritually it is also the same. anything that is not spiritual leads to my troubles and tribulations, but Jesus said ” but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. I must learn to fight against the things that come against me, by following the instructions given by Jesus. Only by being obedient to the instructions given by Jesus can we fight and produce the balance of holiness which is between my nature and the law of God.  Putting the Lord first in all things, then meeting the opposition will be a delight. Trust Jesus today if you have not done so already. You will instantly overcome the world. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in Him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life( John 3:16).  Do you believe? God bless you

The Temple Of The Holy Spirit

” only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you: (Gen 41:40).

https://fromtimetoeternity.com/the-temple-of-the-holy-spirit/

I am under God’s authority and  I am accountable to Him for the way I control my self.  This is the attitude we should have as Christians. Paul said He did not “set aside the grace of God” – or count is as ineffective as to the way He conducts himself  (Gal 2:21).  The grace of God is limitless, and it is absolute, as is the work of salvation through Jesus Christ is complete forever. Once you ask Jesus to save you it is done completely.  You don’t have to go through life with the burden of not knowing if you are still saved, as if God saved you but He left it up to you to stay saved. The work of salvation just like the plan is completely dependent on God.  I am saved, I am not going through the process of being saved. I am saved now for eternity.

Since I am saved I am not to live as though I am not. God expects me to use the gifts He has given me to reach out and help others. As a person saved by the grace of God, I am responsible for the acts I perform with my body. I can’t help anyone if, even though I am saved I live and carry myself as if I have not been saved. If I don’t work out the salvation God has given me, in my body, I will not be able to lead anyone to Christ.  One could rightly say: you are telling me to do this and that, but you don’t practice what you preach.  We who are saved must like Paul  ” Work out my own salvation”.(Phil 2:12).  We must be bold and exhibit openly in our bodies the life of Christ.  Paul expressed it this way, ” I discipline my body and bring it into subjection (1 Cor 9:27). God has given us the responsibility to bring our bodies under absolute control. We have been given us the Authority to rule over the temple of the Holy Spirit. This includes our thoughts and desires (1 Cor 6: 19). We are much more harsh in our judgment of others than we are when it concerns judging ourselves’ We make excuses when it concerns something we have or have not done, but we condemn things that concern others. for the simple reason that we are not inclined to do what they have done.

I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service (Rom 12:1). The decision is left up to me to agree with God that my body is indeed the temple of the Holy Spirit.  We must make it personal. once we agree all of the rules and regulations concerning the body Is summed up in this truth. – my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

My friends settle the sin question in your life today so that you won’t have to worry about it in the future. So that you may enjoy your life with a restored relationship with God.  Only God can save you and He made the necessary provisions through the death Of His Son. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved (Rom 10:9).  Do you Believe Let me know, blog me.

God Bless You    [xyz-ihs snippet=”Botton”]

Do You Love Me ?

From Time To Eternity

I Am The Way and The Truth and The Life
DO YOU LOVE ME? (John 21:17)

Jesus asked Peter do you love me? Previously Before He was crucified, Jesus was explaining to His disciples what was about to take place, Peter told Jesus He would die for Him. The words Jesus was speaking to His disciples caused them to become very emotional. The words Peter spoke were an emotional outcry. He really felt that way emotionally, however, our emotions don’t always line up perfectly with reality. Peter Loved Jesus the way anyone loves a good person deep within our natural selves. This love is expressed mostly through our emotions. This love does not penetrate deep into our spirits.

The Love Jesus was speaking of is not limited to emotional outburst, It is not limited in expression by words. The expression of this love is expressed in our obedience, the expression of this love is seen in the way we live. The expression of this love is seen in how we relate to others. Jesus asked Peter, do you love me? Feed my sheep.  Jesus asked Peter again? Do you Love me? Feed my sheep. Jesus asked Peter again, do you Love me?   True love never just declares itself. Jesus said whoever confesses me before men, (that confesses me in everything he does and not words only) Him will I confess before angels of God (Luke 12:11).

The question Jesus asked Peter Do you love me? hurt him, because he had denied Jesus three times. Jesus made Peter face the truth about himself. If the word of God doesn’t hurt us or cause us not to feel good about ourselves then we are hindering God’s word from working in our lives. I have heard it said that the truth hurts. God wants us to face the truth about ourselves so that we can overcome. The word of God inflicts more pain on us than sin ever could. Sin dulls the senses. The word of God uncovers the evil that we have hidden in our hearts. The word of God intensifies our sensitivities to the point of pain that penetrates our being. The word of God is living and powerful piercing to the division of the soul and the spirit (Heb 4:12). The word of God is very thorough and uncover all deception in our hearts.

Whenever the Lord talk to us directly it is impossible for us to think and respond correctly. As God reveals the deception within us, every part of our lives that is not in line with God’s word feels the pain. The moment that we feel the pain God reveals His truth to us. Amen.

God Bless You

HOW CAN THESE THINGS BE?

HOW CAN THESE THINGS BE?

Greetings Brothers and Sisters Grace and peace to you in the name of God our Father and the Son and The Holy Spirit. I thank God for this wonderful opportunity to share with you regarding His word concerning rebirth. Lord, we thank you because you never made understanding a requirement to be saved, but you never forbid us from finding the truth so we can deeply appreciate what you have done for us, Father I pray that you open our hearts and mind  so that we may receive understanding, for those who know the salvation of the Lord let us receive encouragement to work in battle to save souls. For those who don’t know Jesus open the eyes of their understanding so that they may know the truth and seek the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ, in Jesus name I pray Amen.

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”(John 3:4)

Nicodemus understood what Jesus said to be the physical birth to change one’s personality. Jesus explained to him that the laws governing the flesh and the spirit are different, they are not the same. Jesus told him that which is born of the flesh is flesh (John 3:6a). Nicodemus was astonished by Jesus answer and asked Him, how can a man be born when he is old. This question is one to take note of even though Nicodemus question made it obvious that he did not understand. However, his response should cause us to place focus on the on the elderly. Nicodemus was an aged man, deeply set in his religion, deeply set in his traditional ways. They have lived a certain way all their lives. They have believed what they believe and not believed all their lives. The sad problem is that few elderly people are born again this is tragic, thank God some are.   the concern is having to change their entire outlook on life.

[xyz-ihs snippet=”asynchronous”]

Nicodemus ask another question concerning How the holy spirit could bring about the new birth.  How can these things be? Jesus reminded him that as an instructor of the old testament he should have known the spiritual truth He was expounding. Jesus then reminded of something he was familiar with in Israel’s history.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. Then the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten when he looks at it, shall live.” So Moses made a bronze serpent and put it on a pole, and so it was if a serpent had bitten anyone when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived. (Numbers 21:7,8).  The people of Israel was dying from the poison of snake bites after Moses interceded on their behalf and God sent an easy remedy to them, one that would heal their wounds and remove the calamity. through there looking at the serpent Moses erected on a pole according to God’s instructions And placing it in the center of the camp. The only thing required of the people is that when they are bitten to look at the serpent and they will live. Many of the people wouldn’t look to save their lives. This probably was an indication that they didn’t believe God.

[xyz-ihs snippet=”auto-ads”]

Jesus showed Nicodemus how heavenly activity creates an opportunity for earthly activity. When the two come into contact with one another there is the way of life. Then Jesus brought Nicodemus face to face with the cross. “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should £not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:14,15). This is the only way that old things can pass away and new life can become a reality. Just as by the mercy of God, He provided a way of healing to Israel so that they could receive healing and that their bodies could live. So by His grace provided the cross for all those who are dead in sin can possess eternal life and experience healing of the soul. All one has to do is look by faith to the crucified  One. Brothers and Sisters thank you for taking the time to read this message, I hope this message increased your understanding and encouraged your heart to reach the lost for Christ. If you don’t know Christ as it concerns the pardoning of your sin and you now believe contact me, allow me to help you, blog my post.   v [xyz-ihs snippet=”Botton”

JESUS IS THE Christ

Jesus Is The  Christ

Introduction

Greetings Brothers and Sisters grace and peace to you in the name of God our Father and His Son and the Holy Spirit.  If I had the opportunity to preach to all under heaven, Jesus would be my sermon. It is the message that makes the messenger, Amen !. Jesus is the message. Lord God help me at this time to share your word concerning the preeminence of Christ. Bless the hearts of all who read this message and for those who don’t know Jesus, open their hearts and the eyes of their understanding so that they may learn of Him who gave His life, thank you Lord in Jesus name I pray Amen.  Read more

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: ( Col 1:15,16).

Creator

Jesus is the visible representation of the invisible God. When we get dressed in the morning and we groom ourselves, we look in the mirror at our image. The image we see is a reflected image. This is not so with Jesus, He is not a reflected image. He is the image, Jesus told Phillip, Have I been with you so long, and yet you do not know, He who has seen me has seen the Father. Jesus is the exact visible and physical representation of God. If you could see the Father He would look just like Jesus. He created all things, everything came into being through Him. Without Him, nothing exists that didn’t come into existence through Him. Everything in heaven and everything on earth and everything in the vast universe, everything visible and everything invisible. He caused everything to come into existence, Nothing caused Him to exist. He is the uncaused cause that caused all things to come into being. All things were created by Him for Him, Amen!

And He is before all things, and in Him, all things consist.

Christ Has always existed, there was never a time in eternity past that Christ did not exist. When there was nothing made in eternity past, visible or invisible there is Christ. Before He made anything He Is, I Am. He holds everything together by His great power. Look at the universe, it is by intelligent design. Everything in the universe works exactly the way God designed it. The milky way  Galaxy operates exactly and with precision the way God designed it. The earth is position exactly the right distance from the sun to sustain all life on earth. This is not by chance, Christ is almighty God, and He sustains all life on earth by the divine power of His might. Could you imagine what would happen If Christ wasn’t sustaining the orbit of the earth? I don’t want to think about it.

And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence(Col 1:18).

In eternity past God decided that to save the human race He would send His Son, Born of a woman born under the law to redeem those who were sold by sin. Jesus the Son of God refused to use His power to save Himself. He remained obedient and took on the humiliation, and shameful death on the cross. God exerted great power and raised Him from the dead. Because of his selfless act of love for all humanity, God exalted Him Jesus the God-man, above all creation, the firstborn from among the dead. And gave Him a name above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow that which is in heaven, that which is on earth and that which is under the earth. Jesus is preeminent, the first person to be raised from the dead, unto eternal life to never die again. He is the Head of the Church which is His body. He is the Head of the New world order. Until Christ comes back we all must enter into eternity the same way.

For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, ( Col 1:19).

It pleased God that all of the divine nature the majesty, power, and the goodness of God should be manifested in the man-God Christ Jesus, Amen.  and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross(Col 1:20). Through Jesus God provided a way to reconcile the relationship between God and man. A relationship that was in a state of enmity, a relationship that was in full rebellion against God. Through the blood of Christ God provided a way for humanity to be at peace with God. God could have destroyed us all and yet because He loves us so much he sent His Son to save us.

21And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight( Col 1:21,22).

We were all alienated from God, we were all enemies of God. We didn’t think anything of God, we didn’t respect God, we didn’t love God, we didn’t know God. In our minds, we only had evil thoughts and works continually all the time. But God has reconciled us in the body of His Sons’, flesh through His death, to present you and me holy, and blameless, In His sight. When God sees us, it is not us that He see, It is Christ. Because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, God forgives us when we place our trust in Him. Do you trust Jesus? It is only by faith in Christ that you can receive Gods’ forgiveness and the gift of eternal life. All you have to do is believe in Jesus and the work that He has done.  God bless you, friends. [xyz-ihs snippet=”Botton”]
