” Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life.” (Proverbs 4:23a). It is critical that you’re attentive in making sure that you heart remain in good condition. It is the condition of your heart that is going to determine the course of your life. Your heart has to pump blood through your vains and arteries to reach every organ and every area of your body. It is imperative that blood is circulated through your entire body in order for it to function properly. We must give our hearts the nouragement it needs so that it will remain healthy. Our heart being healthy will be crucial to the blood reaching the extremities of our bodies. The health of the heart determines the health of the body.

Spritually The heart represents your intellectual center, your ethical center. What you think, your perception of yourself. What’s going on with your will? What is your perception of God? How do  you determine what is right and what is wrong? The condition of your heart is important because what goes on there determines the course of your life. So it is the same with your spiritual heart. What goes on there affects all the extremities of your life. You must watch over your heart with all diligence.

Three things you can do to keep your heart healthy is,

1. Your speech, ” Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put devious lips far from you.” (Proverbs 4:24). Keep your speech truthful, and strait forward , not deceitful

2. Your eyes, “Let your eyes look directly ahead, and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you.” (Proverbs 4:5) Look only at thing that enhance your mind and your morals, don’t have wondering eyes.

3. Your Path, ” Watch the path of your feet and all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; turn your foot from evil.” (Proverbs 4:26). Only go places that keep your heart pure, don’t go drifting into questionable areas. Amen.
